Worship at home
A message from the Diocese of Portsmouth:
'We know how hard parents are working at the moment to juggle childcare, home schooling and working from home at an already anxious and unsettled time. We don't want parents to feel that worshipping at home is another 'chore' to add to the list, but hope that worship as a family can be a time to pause and reflect together in the midst of uncertainty and challenge.'
The Diocese are providing a weekly selection of prayerful and bible activities for families to use at home over the coming weeks, as listed below. These can also be accessed on their website.
For children aged 4-11 who usually go to church. These activities could be used for a whole family time of worship at home (this doesn't have to be on a Sunday!)
For children under 5 who would usually go to a toddler group or to church.
For young people aged 11-18 who would usually go to a youth group or to church. This resource can be used to pray and spend time with God at home.
